This page provides information about privacy rights available to residents of certain U.S. states under their respective privacy laws. These rights are in addition to those described in our Privacy Policy.
We respect your privacy rights and are committed to complying with applicable state privacy laws. If you are a resident of one of the states listed below, you may have specific rights regarding your personal information.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information.
Your Rights
- Right to Know: You have the right to request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the business purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete: You have the right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct: You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: You have the right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.
Notice of Collection
We may collect the following categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, IP address), commercial information (purchase history, preferences), internet activity (browsing history, search queries), and inferences drawn from the above.
Sale of Personal Information
MyDealPod does not sell your personal information in the traditional sense. However, some of our advertising activities may constitute "sharing" under the CPRA. You can opt out of this sharing by contacting us.
Virginia Privacy Rights (VCDPA)
If you are a Virginia resident, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA) provides you with the following rights:
- Right to Access: Confirm whether we are processing your personal data and access such data.
- Right to Correction: Correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
- Right to Deletion: Delete personal data provided by or obtained about you.
- Right to Data Portability: Obtain a copy of your personal data in a portable format.
- Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or profiling.
- Right to Appeal: Appeal our decision regarding your privacy request.
Colorado Privacy Rights (CPA)
If you are a Colorado resident, the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA) provides you with similar rights:
- Right to Access: Confirm whether we are processing your personal data and access it.
- Right to Correction: Correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
- Right to Deletion: Delete your personal data.
- Right to Data Portability: Obtain your data in a portable format.
- Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or profiling.
Connecticut Privacy Rights (CTDPA)
If you are a Connecticut resident, the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA) provides you with the following rights:
- Right to Access: Confirm processing and access your personal data.
- Right to Correction: Correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
- Right to Deletion: Delete your personal data.
- Right to Data Portability: Obtain a copy of your data.
- Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of targeted advertising, sale of data, or profiling.
- Right to Appeal: Appeal decisions regarding your requests.
Utah Privacy Rights (UCPA)
If you are a Utah resident, the Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA) provides you with the following rights:
- Right to Access: Confirm processing and access your personal data.
- Right to Deletion: Delete personal data you have provided.
- Right to Data Portability: Obtain a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of targeted advertising or sale of personal data.
Other States
Several other states have enacted or are implementing comprehensive privacy laws, including Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee, and Delaware. If you are a resident of any of these states, you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing of your personal information.

Verification Process
When you submit a request, we will verify your identity to protect your privacy and security. We may ask you to provide information that matches what we have on file. For requests submitted by an authorized agent, we may require proof of authorization.
Response Time
We will respond to your request within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically 45 days for California, 45 days for Virginia, Colorado, and Connecticut, and 45 days for Utah). If we need additional time, we will notify you of the extension and the reason for it.
Appeals Process
If we deny your privacy request, you have the right to appeal our decision in certain states. To appeal, please contact us at privacy@mydealpod.com with the subject line "Privacy Request Appeal" and include the details of your original request and the reason for your appeal.
We will respond to your appeal within the timeframe required by applicable law. If your appeal is denied, you may have the right to contact your state's Attorney General to file a complaint.
Changes to This Notice
We may update this State Privacy Rights notice from time to time to reflect changes in state laws or our practices. We will post the updated notice on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
